our values

As stated in Article 1 of its Constitution, the Grande Loge Féminine de France aspires to "the relentless and unrestricted pursuit of truth and justice in the respect of others, so as to contribute to the improvement of humanity".

It is at the same time:

•   A school of life, relying on the values of liberty, tolerance, and the respect of others and of oneself. By its humanistic philosophical approach, it intends to rise above discord, to refuse exclusion in order to be the "centre of the union".
•   A universal alliance founded on solidarity, the encounter of women who have freely chosen common objectives, who work and progress together.
•   An initiatory order to which one adheres of one's own free will. In its spiritual quest, Freemasonry refuses all dogma, it respects all religious beliefs but imposes none.

It is the art of shaping oneself, so as to better shape society.

Working within the Lodges and then spreading their ideas and their values outside, thinking the world in order to be able to build it more efficiently, integrating the heritage of the past in order to be the architects of the future, such is the ideal of the women of the GLFF.

This ideal is implemented through the commitment of each woman Freemason : to actively participate in her Lodge in this labour of construction so as to work more truly towards an ideal of human dignity, of justice and democracy.

True to the founding principles of universal Freemasonry, the Grande Loge Féminine de France strictly abides to the laws of France. Its motto is that of the French Republic, "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity".
